Sunday at 3 p.m., it will premiere “Simply Light,” dance works that feature original music and video, a contemporary solo and a hip-hop suite.

Scott Dance Studio in the Scott Gymnasium at Smith College in Northampton. Free.

The Ha-Has will perform “Book Club: Where Literature Meets Laughter.” The students say they are eager to join in. $5 at the door.
