Steve Pfarrer’s Best Bets
A GOOD-TIME SHOW
As part of Huntington’s summerlong North Hall Arts Festival, the Porch Hall Jazz Trio plays this Sunday at 4 p.m. at the historic North Hall in town. Trombonist Dave Sporny, guitarist Bob Ferrier and bassist Don Baldini have played with national acts ranging from Yo Yo Ma to Frank Sinatra and John Ambercrombie, and locally they gig as part of the Amherst Jazz Orchestra. On Sunday they’ll offer a mix of swing, Latin rhythms and jazz standards. northhallhuntington.org.
