Kellogg, Northampton baseball too strong for Hampshire Regional

Devin Kellogg went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBIs and two runs scored as the Northampton baseball team beat Hampshire Regional, 9-2, Saturday in Westhampton.

Hampshire took a 2-1 lead after the first inning, but Hamp scored four in the third and one in the fourth to lead 6-2. The Devils (2-1) added three runs in the seventh to pull away.

Aidan Chapdelaine (two runs, RBI) was 3-for-4 and Tristan Swazlawski (RBI) was 2-for-4 in the win.

Andy Grygorcewicz struck out eight, walked four and allowed two runs on six hits over six innings for the win.

John Carey (run, RBI), Garrett Antosz (RBI), Gage Fortin and Jake Labrie each had a hit for Hampshire.
