Kristen Torres and Douglas Thayer were married May 28 at Quonquont Farm in Whately in the presence of family and friends.
The bride is the daughter of Christine Torres of Huntington Station, New York.
The groom is the son of Mary and Richard Thayer of Hadley.
Both graduates of Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, Kristen then earned her masters of education at The University of Massachusetts Amherst and is working in college admissions at Clark University in Worcester. Doug pursued his masters degree in facilities management at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and is currently working for a local property management company.
