Joe Hildreth had two hits and three RBIs for the Frontier Regional baseball team, which qualified for the postseason with a 12-6 win over Greenfield on Thursday.
Ben Arnold added two hits and two RBIs, while Kade Gewanter had a hit and two RBIs.
Arnold also got the win, striking out 10 with just one walk in six innings of work.
Amherst Regional 10, West Springfield 5 — Seth Bella-Hunter struck out the final batter with runners in scoring position as the Hurricanes (5-11) held off a late rally by the Terriers (12-4).
Nathan Masteralexis struck out three and allowed six hits and five runs over 6⅔ innings for the win.
Bella-Hunter added a pair of doubles, runs and RBIs. Will Budington (run) and Jonah Kane each had two-run singles.
Max Hopley (two runs, double) was 2-for-4, while Jake Balderston (hit, run) had two RBIs.
All nine starters had at least one hit for Amherst.
Mahar 15, Easthampton 1 — Lance Parrish plated Zack Kugler with a single in the first for the Eagles (1-13, 0-8 Hampshire East), but the Senators (8-8, 5-3) responded with six in the first to pull away.
Dawson Wolcott and Nate Morse each had a single in defeat.
Hampshire Regional 15, Monson 0 (5) — Everett Warner had three hits and three RBIs for the Raiders.
Camden Kelly went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, while Jake Batchelder hit a three-run double for Hampshire (6-10, 3-5 B-County South).
Ben Fitzpatrick allowed just four hits and struck out four in his five innings of work.
Smith Academy 8, Athol 1 — John Ferrara struck out 10, allowed six hits and two walks for the win. He helped his cause with an RBI and a run.
Matt Bouley went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, while Jack Hession added an RBI and scored a run for the Falcons (7-8, 6-2 Hampshire East).
South Hadley 9, Hopkins Academy 4 — Evan Levrault hit a three-run double and struck out six with just two hits allowed for the Tigers (12-4, 7-1 Hampshire West).
Sean Doyle drove in two runs, while Teddy Doyle and Kyle Gemme each had RBIs.
Nate Kelley, Justin Butterfield, Aiden Michalak and Thea Hanscom all had RBIs for Hopkins.
Noah Scanlon-Dean led the Golden Hawks with two hits.
Gateway Regional 14, Putnam 9 — Shane Mastello went 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs, scoring two runs.
Logan Symmons had two RBIs for the Gators (3-14, 2-4 Bi-County North).
Brandon Daniels scored four runs and went 2-for-3. Nathaniel Bushor went 3-for-3.
Belchertown 5, Turners 4 (8) — Cameron Supple hit a walk-off in the eighth inning after Jackson Leduc laid down a bunt to advance the runners.
Tanner Clark had two RBIs for the Orioles (5-9, 1-5 Hampshire West).
