Christmas Tree Farm aids Cancer Connection
I enjoyed the story in Monday’s Daily Hampshire Gazette about Cranston Christmas Tree Farm (“A holiday tradition”).
This time of year the Cranston Christmas Tree Farm in Ashfield looks like a Norman Rockwell setting, with families cutting trees, hoisting them on car roofs and buying a few handmade ornaments to grace the tree. For the past five years, the Cranstons have sold ornaments made by volunteers to benefit Cancer Connection, with the goal of raising $10,000 – and they’ve nearly reached that goal.
I have enjoyed working with Maryellen Cranston over these past years and am so grateful to the Cranstons for their loyal support. I’m also grateful to our volunteers, who spent many hours crafting the ornaments.
