Thanks supporters of language institute

On behalf of the International Language Institute in Northampton, we want to thank the hundreds of individual donors and local businesses who have opened their hearts in support of the immigrants and refugees enrolled in our free English evening classes.

These classes change lives. Increased English skills open the doors to education and employment opportunities that help immigrant and refugee families become more self-sufficient and better able to give back to their communities up and down the Pioneer Valley.

Without generous contributions through avenues such as the United Way of Hampshire County, the Paradise City Arts Festival silent auction, Valley Gives, the Florence Bank customers’ choice community grants, and in response to our own Giving Voice event at the Hotel Northampton, it would be nearly impossible to continue this vital, 29-year-old program. Here’s a shout-out to all of you.
