Sewer work in Amherst Woods to close Wildflower Drive

Last modified: Saturday, August 16, 2014
AMHERST — Sewer extension work on Wildflower Drive is scheduled to begin in the Amherst Woods neighborhood Monday.

Revoli Construction of Franklin, which recently completed most of the sewer and water work on Harkness Road three weeks ahead of schedule, is moving its equipment to Wildflower Drive, where it will work daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The initial construction will take place between Tanglewood Road and Larkspur Drive. Wildflower will be closed to through traffic during the construction hours.

Residents who live within the construction zone will be able to access their driveways, although there may be delays. They should also plan for alternate routes depending on where the construction equipment is working.

Anyone with sprinkler heads, invisible pet fences and other items in the town’s right of way should mark them so they are not damaged during work.
