RECORDS THRU MONDAY
1. Greenfield (15-1-2, last week: 1) - With Agawam and South Hadley realigned out of the Fay-Wright, the league was supposed to be wide open. But the Green Wave has absolutely run away with the crown, leading second-place Easthampton and Chicopee Comp by 11 points.2. Agawam (13-2-3, last week: 2) - The Brownies put themselves in prime position for the Berry title by beating Westfield 3-1 Sunday. They need two of a possible four points against West Side (Thursday) and Minnechaug (Friday) to claim the title and likely the top seed in the D3 tourney.3. Westfield (11-4-3, last week: 3) - The Bombers missed an opportunity to clinch the Berry by losing to Agawam Sunday. They still hold a one-point lead, but are finished with league play. So they need the Brownies to come up with no more than a point over two games to claim at least a share.4. Minnechaug (9-6-3, last week: 6) - A dominant 4-0 win over Longmeadow Saturday shows the Falcons are a true contender. They clinched their first postseason appearance since 2007 with the win. They'll get another chance for a statement in the regular season finale Friday against Agawam.5. East Longmeadow (7-6-4, last week: 5) - After a torrid stretch a few weeks ago, the Spartans have only won once in their last five contests. A tie with Longmeadow Monday assured them a tournament spot, and they'll face their rival again Thursday in a playoff tuneup. 6. Longmeadow (8-7-3, last week: 4) - The Lancers have certainly played a challenging schedule, but they've been up and down all season long. They've put up some stellar performances and a couple duds, like a 4-0 loss to Minnechaug Saturday. They'll need to get past this current 2-4-1 stretch.7. South Hadley (6-8-4, last week: 7) - It will interesting to see how the Tigers handle the postseason after playing a predominantly Division 3 schedule. They'll certainly be one of the favorites to claim the crown and perhaps the overall favorite. But of the teams currently in the D3A field, they've only faced Chicopee Comp (tie), Wahconah (loss) and Chicopee (win).8. Wahconah Regional (12-6-1, last week: NR) - The Warriors have rolled off nine wins in a row and return to the rankings for the first time since the season's early weeks. They've rebounded nicely from a 3-6-1 start with wins over Berry opponents South Hadley and West Springfield.9. Easthampton (8-6, last week: 8) - The Eagles are back in the postseason and will bring one of the best lines into the tournament with Mike Grise and Tim Pfau on the first unit. They've got the talent to make a deep run, but will need to sharpen up a bit in their own zone. 10. Belchertown (8-7-3, last week: 10) - A victory over Turners Falls Monday put the Orioles a single point from a tournament berth just a year after one of the worst seasons in program history. It could be interesting if their playoff hopes come down to Wednesday's season finale against rival Amherst.
