These sunset clouds on Monday were unusual in that they weren’t confined to the west; they stretched across the sky, horizon to horizon. I noticed the pink sky while driving eastward to a Hadley mall to replace my faithful point-and-shoot pocket camera which had met an untimely demise. Knowing the light show wouldn’t last more than a minute or two, I was glad to have another camera on hand, lent to me by someone who had empathized with my camera-withdrawal symptoms. Some people can’t leave home without their phone. Not me.
