Tipping offI believe in wild poll swings early in the year. Anything else would imply that my preseason suppositions hold more weight than actual results. I didn't have Villanova anywhere near my top 25. Wins over Mt. St. Mary's, Delaware and Lafayette was moving the needle for me.
But after beating USC, Kansas and Iowa, Villanova is legitmate. How legitimate? I've got the Wildcats No. 6. There will be people that have Villanova below Kansas. I'm not one of them.
I moved UMass up to No. 19, most as a result of things that happened to other teams.

This is a challenge.
Wednesday – North Carolina at Michigan State - If UNC hadn't beaten Louisville, I'd have no expectation for the Tar Heels at all, but will the good UNC show up or the one that lost to UABThursday – West Virginia at Missouri - Friday- Kentucky at Baylor - This has upset potentialSaturday – Marquette at Wisconsin - Battle for the Brie?Sunday – Oregon at Ole Miss - I'm curious how good Ole Miss actually is.Question I don't know the answer to: Is Charlotte to be taken seriouslyFearless Predictions: Baylor over KentuckyBuzzer Beaters: Eastern Michigan could be a scary game for UMass, which is playing its first true road game. BYU will absolutely be a challenge. Minutemen can solidify their status with two wins....One day til UMass vs. EMU...
