Sarah Feldman and Jeffrey Rothenberg

Sarah Feldman of New York, N.Y., and Jeffrey Rothenberg of Hadley announce their engagement. Feldman is the daughter of Katherine Vorwerk and Robert Feldman of Amherst. Rothenberg is the son of Barbara Skolnick Rothenberg and David Rothenberg of Amherst.

Feldman is a psychologist at the Center for Motivation and Change in New York City. A 2001 graduate of Amherst Regional High School, she received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., in 2005. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City.

Rothenberg is director of major gifts for the Sigma Chi Foundation in Evanston, Ill. A 2000 graduate of Amherst Regional High School, he received a bachelor's degree in business administration from American University in Washington, D.C., in 2004 and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Conn., in 2006.

A 2013 wedding is planned.
