SOUTH HADLEY - Jennie (Kuzontkoski) Bergeron, 89, of Woodbridge Street, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, in Mercy Medical Center.

She was born in Whately, the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Niedzwiecki) Kuzontkoski. Jennie enjoyed gardening, boating and traveling.

She was predeceased by her husband, Benoit "Benny" Bergeron, in 2005, and her sister, Ann McGee.

Jennie is survived by her children, Robert Bergeron of Easthampton and Beverly Astley of South Hadley; her grandchildren, Amie Jones, Kayla Astley and her husband, Andrew Milmore, Sadie Bergeron and her husband, John Benedict, Jennie Bergeron and Robert Bergeron Jr.; and her great-grandson, Aidan Bergeron.

A calling hour will be held on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m., with a prayer service at 11 a.m. in the Ryder Funeral Home, South Hadley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice.
