Greenfield hockey edges Belchertown
Eric Cameron completed a hat trick with is third-period, game-winning goal as Greenfield slipped past Belchertown 4-3 at home Monday night.
Kyle Smith scored once for the Green Wave, which bounced back from its first loss of the season with the victory.
Dan Pereira, Ethan Sprague, Jake Ewell and Mike Duclos each recorded assists, while Barrett Rogalski made 21 saves for Greenfield (10-1-1, 3-1-1 Fay).
Pereira and Rogalski are Smith Academy students.
Sean Kennedy (assist), Tommy Daley (assist) and Keean Bell scored once each for the Orioles (5-6, 3-2) in the loss.
Brian Desrochers had two assists, while Joseph Gallo and Wyatt Rousseau both had one.
Travis Greeley made 19 saves in the loss.
Turners Falls 5, St. Joseph 2 - Cody Booska (two goals, one assist), Tim McMahon (one, two) and Travis Holloway (one, two) each had three points as the Indians (3-9) won in Greenfield.
Keegan Downie also scored for Turners, while Brandon Lenois, Cam Porter, Jordan Cutting and Ryan Lenois were credited with one assist.
Will Miller made 24 saves in the win.
