CORY ROGERS and LAUREN PERRY

William and Megan McElwain Perry of Brunswick, Maine, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elaine Perry of Amherst, to Cory Allen Rogers, also of Amherst. Rogers is the son of Mary Rogers-Zion and Barbara Zion of East Freetown and William and Wilma Rogers of Sebring, Fla.

Perry is a guidance counselor. A 2000 graduate of Brunswick High School, she received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2004 and a master's degree in counseling and social work from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2006.

Rogers is an assistant principal. A 1990 graduate of Middleboro High School, he received a bachelor's degree in marketing and management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I., in 1994 and a master's degree in education leadership and supervision from the University of Phoenix of Massachusetts in 2005.

A June 23, 2012, wedding is planned.
