Karen Schaubert & Jonah Goodman
Karen Schaubert and Jonah Goodman of Washington, D.C., were married Oct. 8 at Union Station in Washington, D.C. The Rev. Caroline Meyers officiated at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Joyce Schaubert of Amherst. The bridegroom is the son of David and Josephine Goodman of Radnor, Pa.
Following a reception at Union Station, the couple honeymooned in Thailand.
Sharon Zehender was the maid of honor. The bridesmaid was Katelyn Adams.
Noah Goodman, the bridegroom's brother, was the best man. The groomsman was Matt Nicoletta.
The bride, 30, is a physical therapist at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. A 1999 graduate of the Williston Northampton School in Easthampton, she received a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Connecticut in Storrs in 2004 and a doctorate in physical therapy from Marymount University in Arlington, Va., in 2009.
The bridegroom, 31, is a graphic designer at the Association of American Medical Colleges in Washington, D.C. A 1997 graduate of Conestoga High School in Radnor, Pa., he received a bachelor's degree from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y., in 2001.
