Richard P. Greene, worked at TechAlloy

WORCESTER - Richard Patrick "Pat" Greene, 70, formerly of Northampton, passed away Dec. 9, 2011, at Hammond House Care and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester.

Richard was born March 19, 1941, in Northampton, the son of Paul and Edith (King) Greene. He lived much of his life in Northampton. He worked for over 30 years at the former Howmet/Northampton Manufacturing Corp./TechAlloy in the Baystate section of Northampton.

He is survived by a son, Robert Greene Sr. and his wife, Patty, of Florence; a daughter, Teresa (Greene) Guzik and her husband, Stanley, of Williamsburg; two grandsons, Robert Greene Jr. and Jeffrey Greene; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Mickey Greene of Seattle.

He was predeceased by five sisters: Elizabeth (Betty) Marhefka, Barbara Pope, Kathleen Foucher, Mary Arel and Shirley Prall; and three brothers: John (Jack) Greene, Thomas Greene and James Greene.

Calling hours will be Thursday, Dec. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a brief memorial service at the Ahearn Funeral Home, 783 Bridge Road, Northampton.

For the last ten years, Pat was lovingly cared for by the staff at Hammond House Care and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Activities Fund, Hammond House Care and Rehabilitation Center, 18 Hammond St., Worcester, MA 01610.
