The University of Massachusetts women's basketball team fell behind early and lost 55-52 to George Mason Thursday in Fairfax, Va.

Jasmine Watson had 14 points and six rebounds for UMass (1-6), while Shakia Robinson added 14 points and seven rebounds.

Megan Zullo added 10 points and five assists for the Minutewomen, who shot 36.8 percent from the floor.

Taleia Moton scored 32 points for the Patriots (5-1).
