The UMass women's basketball team has added 6-foot forward Kim Pierre-Louis to its 2011-12 roster on Monday.

Pierre-Louis played for St. Paul Catholic High School in Ottawa, Ontario, where she was a three-time team MVP as well as the school's female athlete of the year.

Pierre-Louis was a member of the club team Ottawa Nationals. She led the 19-1 Nationals to the Ontario Junior Under-19 Elite League championship in 2011.

Pierre-Louis scored 19 points and added seven rebounds in a championship victory.
