Melanie Sharick registered six points for the Amherst Regional girls lacrosse team which defeated Bratleboro, Vt., 11-7 at home Friday.

Sharick scored three goals and added three assists. Cora Hirschfeld had a team-high four goals with an assist for the Hurricanes (4-7).

Eliza Fishman scored twice, while Sarah Mangels and Olivia Holcomb each had a goal and an assist. Cora Torton added one assist.

Lydi Cohen stopped 13 shots in goal for Amherst.

Monson 10, Belchertown 9 - Emma Norden had four goals and Brianna Del Valle scored two but the second-year varsity Orioles (1-10) fell on the road to the first-year Mustangs (3-5).

Stefanie Dufresne (goal) added five assists while Kayla Panek chipped in with two goals and one assist for Belchertown.

Alicia Beaupre made 11 saves in the loss.
