The Amherst Regional girls lacrosse team trailed by nine at halftime and became the undefeated Lancers' latest victims with a 16-3 loss.

Melanie Sharick had two goals for Amherst (1-3), while Cora Hirschfeld had the other. Lydi Cohen made eight saves for the Hurricanes.

Minnechaug 13, Belchertown 1 - Kayla Panek scored and Alicia Beaupre made eight saves for the Orioles (1-2) at home.
