Nick Johnson had two goals and two assists to lead the Amherst Regional boys lacrosse team to a 6-0 shutout victory over Monson at home.

Kieran Presley (one assist), Willie Jackson, Zachary Jackson and Cody Baglow each had one goal as the Hurricanes improved to 2-0.

Ezra Ward and Will Barstow combined for five saves in the shutout.

Westfield 7, Northampton 4 - The Bombers jumped ahead 6-1 at halftime as the Blue Devils (1-1) fell at home.

Conor Abbatessa and Justin Golec each had two goals, while Drew Gougeon added an assist in front of Tyler Williams (10 saves).
