Senior guard Cerie Mosgrove of the University of Massachusetts women's basketball team has been invited to participate in the State Farm College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships, held March 31 at the University of Houston.

Mosgrove is one of eight players in the women's 3-point shooting contest. A total of 24 players will compete in this year's event, which is held annually in the Final Four city. The event will be televised from 9 to 11 p.m. on ESPN2.

Mosgrove led the country in 3-point shooting percentage, finishing 78-for-157 (49.7 percent).
