The Daily Hampshire Gazette All-Star series continues with girls cross country.

Much like the boys, the Northampton girls dominated the scene. The Blue Devils ended Amherst Regional's stranglehold on the Western Massachusetts Division 1 Championship. Hamp placed five runners in the top 20 as it claimed its first D-1 sectional title. Northampton also won the PVIAC championship. Senior Haley Milsark was one of the many interchangeable runners for the Blue Devils. Milsark placed ninth at the western Mass. meet.

Natalie Mako of Frontier Regional was on the top Division 2 runners. The sophomore placed fifth at the Western Massachusetts D-2 championships. She also led the Red Hawks in a victory over Amherst Regional. That win snapped the Hurricanes' 109 dual-meet winning streak.
