Tigers top Hurricanes
South Hadley 12, Amherst 8 - The Hurricanes (7-9, 1-5) tied the game briefly at the start of the third quarter but the Tigers (15-1, 6-1 Valley Wheel) came right back to win on the road.
The victory clinched at least a share of the league title for the Tigers, who last earned a piece of the championship in 2007.
Chris Menard had three goals and three assists for South Hadley, while Ben Menard, Max Hebert and Zak Guenther (assist) each scored twice.
Ryan Dickinson, Andrew Pettengill and Jake Hebert each scored one goal for the Tigers, and Dan Covington had an assist.
Sean Mackey made 11 saves in goal for South Hadley.
Alex Bloom (assist) had three goals for the Hurricanes, and Jonas Bass (assist) added two.
Nick Johnson, Devin Conley (assist) and Ben Brassord each had one goal, and Walker Nambu had two assists for Amherst.
Ezra Ward made 12 saves in goal for the Hurricanes.
East Longmeadow 15, Belchertown 5 - Luke Caney (one assist) and Ryan Jopson each had two goals for the Orioles (0-14, 0-9 Valley League) in the loss on the road.
Ethan Auffrey also scored for Belchertown.
Ian Sypek had 16 saves in goal for the Orioles.
