The University of Massachusetts women's lacrosse team scored the final four goals of the game to defeat Yale 9-5 on Wednesday at McGuirk Stadium.

Jesse O'Donnell scored four goals for the Minutewomen (3-4) who led 4-2 at halftime.

Jackie Lyons added two goals and two assists for UMass, and Nina Sarcona scored the other three.

Danielle Pelletier and Lauren Terracciano each had an assist for the Minutewomen.

Katie Florence made two save sin goal for UMass, which had a 16-8 shot advantage over the Bulldogs (1-3).

The Minutewomen play at Stony Brook at 1 p.m. Saturday.
