Hill leads UMass over Hawks
Diatiema Hill's fourth career double-double led the Unviersity of massachuwetts women's basketball team to a 75-62 victory Thursday night over St. Joseph's at the Mullins Center.
The senior forward finished with a game-high 20 points to go along with 11 assists.
The Minutewomen (11-17, 5-8 Atlantic 10) rallied from a nine-point deficit midway through the first half to win on senior night.
Freshman Jasmine Watson scored 17 points and tallied seven rebounds for UMass, who shot 61.5 percent from the field in the second half.
UMass juniors Stephanie Lawrence and Cerie Mosgrove scored nine points apiece for the Minutewomen, and senior Kim Benton added seven points, three assists, and three rebounds.
The Hawks (15-13, 8-5 A-10) were led by Ashley Logue with 12 points.
The Minutewomen end their regular season at Charlotte at 2 p.m. Sunday.
