Senior guard Diatiema Hill made a free throw to complete a three-point play with 46.3 seconds remaining to give the University of Massachusetts women's basketball team the lead for good in its 62-57 victory at La Salle in Philadelphia on Wednesday night.

The Minutewomen (10-16, 4-7 Atlantic 10) scored the last seven points of the game after trailing by 10 with less than 10 miuntes to play.

Hill finished with nine points and six assists.

Jasmine Watson scored a game-high 20 points for UMass to go with six rebounds, and Kristina Danella added seven points and seven rebounds.

The Minutewomen will play at Xavier at 1 p.m. Saturday.
