Despite making seven-of-11 3-point attempts, the University of Massachusetts women's basketball team lost 66-54 to Temple in Philadelphia on Wednesday night.

Diatiema Hill led the Minutewomen (9-15, 3-6 Atlantic 10) with 18 points, five assists, four rebounds, and three steals.

Jasmine Watson scored in double figures for her third straight game with 10 points, and added five rebounds, four steals, two assists and one block.

Shaqwedia Wallace led all scorers with 22 points for the Owls (18-6, 7-2 A-10).

UMass returns home to host Dayton at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Mullins Center.
