Pelissier shines for Hopkins

Hopkins Academy 52, Mohawk Trail 39 - Gabrielle Pelissier led the Golden Hawks (3-1, 3-1 Franklin South) with a career-high 22 points - including 16 in the second half - in Buckland.

Pelissier scored most her points in transition as Hopkins continually beat the Warrior press.

Stephanie Delue had 11 points and six assists for the Hawks, Olivia Mathieu added eight points and four assists and Emma Konieczny contributed five points and five assists.

Mohawk (0-5) fell to 0-4 in the North.

Northampton 41, Westfield 31 - Kathryn Donnelly (nine points) sank 5-of-6 free throws down the stretch as the Blue Devils (3-3) held off the host Bombers (0-2) and evened their record before the holiday break.

Samantha Barnes had 10 points and 13 rebounds to pace Northampton, and Lauren Weston added six points and 11 rebounds.

Dean Tech 30, Smith Vocational 11 - Abby Kubacki had four points for the Vikings (0-3, 0-3 Tri-County) who lost in Holyoke.
