BRUNSWICK, Ga. - Peggy (Rockett) Farrick, 77, died Thursday morning, Dec. 3, 2009, in Brunswick Hospital in Brunswick, Ga.

She was born Aug. 14, 1932, to John and Elizabeth (Leary) Rockett. Peggy is survived by her two sons, David and his wife Nancy of Wilson, N.C., and Peter of Brunswick, Ga. Peggy was a graduate of Northampton High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She was head nurse for many years in pediatric care at Cooley Dickinson Hospital before her retirement and move to Georgia.

Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Donald Farrick of Easthampton, Mass. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Cove of Leeds, Mass.; and her three brothers, John J. of Florence, Mass., Thomas of Leeds, and William of Barnstable, Mass. She also leaves one granddaughter and two great-granddaughters. In addition, she leaves several nieces and nephews.

Peggy was a great tag sale person, and she loved to walk on the beach at Cape Cod, and Brunswick. A private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in Peg's memory may be sent to The Cancer Connection, P.O. Box 60452, Florence, MA 01062.
