Easthampton - Laurie J. Glass, 49, of Cottage Street, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 in Worcester after a brief illness.

Born Sept. 26, 1960 in Westfield to Henry and Rita (LaMountain) Wajda, she grew up in Southampton and was a graduate of Hampshire Regional High School. Laurie has lived in Easthampton for the past 10 years. She was a seamstress and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

She leaves her husband, Harry W. Glass; her mother, Rita Wajda of Florida; her brother, Philip Wajda of Southampton; nephews, Daniel and Kevin Wajda of Enfield, Conn.; aunt and uncles, Armand and Barbara LaMountain of Florida and Mitch and Justine Wajda of Holyoke. She was predeceased by her father, Henry Wajda.

Graham Funeral Home, 18 Adams St., of Easthampton, has been entrusted with Laurie's care and funeral arrangements. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. with a service of remembrance at 7 p.m.
