HADLEY - Stacia (Rodak) Bak, 88, of Golden Court, died Saturday morning, Nov. 14, 2009, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

Born Feb 3, 1921, in Hadley, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Agnes (Wojtowicz) Rodak. She attended Hopkins Academy. Stacia was a communicant of the Most Holy Redeemer Church and an active member, belonging to the Rosary Sodality and the Saint Anne's Society. She was also a member of the Polish Women's Alliance 499.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Bak, in 1976. She was also predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.

Stacia leaves her daughter, Debra Potts of Hadley; sons John Bak of Utah, Richard Bak of Florida, and Dennis Bak of Texas; her sister Adeline Melnik; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Czelusniak Funeral Home of Northampton, followed by a Mass at the Most Holy Redeemer Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
