Casey Wellman and James Marcou scored in the final five minutes of the game to give the 19th-ranked University of Massachusetts men's hockey team a 4-2 win at Niagara Sunday afternoon.

Michael Marcou and Will Ortiz also scored for the Minutemen (6-1). Wellman added two assists.

Dan Meyers got his first start of the season in goal for UMass and made 25 saves.

UMass returns home to play Hockey East rival New Hampshire at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Mullins Center.
