Andy Stadler scored all three goals for the George Washington men's soccer team which shut out the University of Massachusetts 3-0 Sunday afternoon in Washington, D.C.

The Minutemen finished the season 7-7-3 overall and 4-5 in the Atlantic 10.

Shane Curran-Hays (one save, one goal against) played the first half in goal for UMass, and Chris Piekos (four saves, two goals) relieved him in the second half.

The Colonials (10-8, 4-5 A-10) had a 14-11 advantage in shots.

Women's soccer

Middlebury 1, Amherst 0 - Jenny Galgano scored at 49 minutes, 36 seconds to give the third-seeded Panthers (12-2-2) an upset win in the semifinals of the New England Small College Athletic Conference Tournament Saturday in Williamstown.

Allie Horwitz made four saves in goal for the second-seeded Jeffs (12-3-1).
