Roswess gives UMass OT win

Sophomore forward Chris Roswess scored after five minutes, 54 seconds of overtime to give the University of Massachusetts men's soccer team a 2-1 victory at Richmond Friday night.
Roswess also assisted on the first goal of the game by Mark DeSantis at 66:34.
Shane Curran-Hays made three saves in goal for the Minutemen (7-6-3, 4-4 Atlantic 10) who had a 27-10 shot advantage over the Spiders (5-10-2, 2-4-2).
Despite the win, UMass can not finish among the top six teams which make the A-10 Tournament.
The Minutemen will conclude their season at George Washington at 1 p.m. Sunday.
