Red Hawks, Green Wave play to draw

Frontier Regional 0, Greenfield 0 - Bridget Stryszko made eight saves as the teams played to a draw in South Deerfield.

The shutout was the 10th of the year for the Red Hawks, who finished the regular season 13-3-2 (3-3-2 North).

Frontier was unbeaten in its last five games, including four wins, heading into the postseason.

Northampton 5, Southwick 0 - Steve Mailloux capped his senior year with a four-goal performance at home.

Dayna Carpenter started the scoring for Northampton (6-9-3, 5-5-2 Central) with a goal in the 11th minute of the game on a pass from freshman Shannon O'Leary, who scored her first varsity point with the assist.

The rest of the game was all Mailloux, who converted assists from Connor Marcus, Damaris Miller and Sammy Sarvet.

Molly Brooks had four saves for Northampton.

The win marked the final game for Blue Devil seniors Bridget Keefe, Casey Adams, Mailloux, Brooks, Carpenter, Marcus, Miller and Sarvet.

Mohawk Trail 1, Smith Academy 0 - The Falcons (16-2, 7-1 North) lost their perfect North division record with 10 minutes remaining in the game against the Warriors (6-7-1, 2-4-1).

Kierstan Mulcare made 10 saves in goal for Smith.

South Hadley 3, East Longmeadow 2 - After gaining a 2-0 lead by halftime, the Tigers (10-5-3, 9-1-2) halted a late comeback by the Spartans (5-7-2, 5-3-1) to take the league title.

Lindsay Conner scored the game-winning goal with 22 seconds remaining in the game on an unassisted goal in the middle of the circle.

Kayla Narey and Juliette Chenier also scored for South Hadley. Chenier assisted on Conner's goal.

Mic Boyer had eight saves in goal for the Tigers.
