Tigers blank Rams

South Hadley 2, Southwick 0 - The Tigers snapped a two-game losing streak with a pair of second-half goals at home.

Kayla Narey got South Hadley (5-4-1, 5-1-1 Central) on the board off a Meghan McClaflin. Emily McClintock then doubled the advantage with a goal from Lindsay Brandts.

Mic Boyer made three saves to earn the shutout, while freshman Cassandra McClaflin keyed the defensive effort in front of the box.

It was the first game in eight days for South Hadley, which had two postponements last week.

Agawam 2, Amherst 0 - Ellie Massengill made eight saves for the Hurricanes, who fell on the road to the defending western Massachusetts champions.

Amherst (2-6-1, 0-5 South) held the Brownies (9-1-1, 3-1-1 South) scoreless in the first half.

Agawam qualified for the postseason with the win.
