Delia Robbins, of Cummington
CUMMINGTON - Delia A. Robbins, 73, passed away on June 19 at Linda Manor Extended Care Facility in Leeds.
She was born on Feb. 5, 1935 in Pittsfield and was the daughter of Evelyn (Griffen) Thayer, who was also born in Pittsfield. She resided in Cummington all her life. Delia leaves her husband of 54 years, Levi Robbins, Sr., whom she married on May 14, 1955 in Pittsfield.
Additional survivors include her children, Levi Robbins, Jr., and his wife Kathy of Westhampton, Robin Robbins of Cummington, Delbert Robbins and his wife Gloria of Cummington and Randy Robbins of Florida. Additional survivors include her 10 grandchildren, Kellie, DJ, Jamie, Rob, Becca, Jessica, Tabitha, RJ, Keith and Amber; and eight great-grandchildren, Shelby, Levi, Kenzie, Alyssa, Dannie, Marie, Dusty, Matthew and Rylen. Delia is also survived by her sisters, Verna Ridel of Cummington and Amy Hartford of Tennessee; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Delia was a home maker and member of Cummington Congregational Church. She was a member of 4-H, Grange, Cummington Recreation, St. Judes and Hilltown Food Pantry. Delia's interests and hobbies were wood working, crafts, camping, CB jamborees, Hunter mountain, square dancing, country music, watching her family's softball games and attending all of her children's and grandchildren's events. Special memories include having spent she and her husband's 54th Wedding Anniversary and Mother's Day at her son's home with her family.

Delia's funeral was held on Monday, June 22, at 10 a.m. at the Cummington Congregational Church. All arrangements were handled by Childs Funeral Home of Haydenville.
