The Belchertown boys volleyball team lost 3-0 to visiting Ludlow on Monday.

"It was a tough game," Belchertown coach John Skorupski said, "Ludlow is always tough, they came to play."

The Orioles (1-2, 0-1 PVIAC North) struggled early and lost the first set 25-11, before dropping the next two 25-17 and 25-9.

Doug Rogers played well for Belchertown with two kills and a block. Cam Savoie had one kill in his first varsity game.

Belchertown hosts Athol at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
