NORTHAMPTON - An truck driver making a sharp turn around a Pleasant Street building cut it a bit too close, damaging his trailer and the building's awning.
No one was hurt. The accident happened about 7:30 a.m. this morning at 395 Pleasant St., home of Northampton Wellness Associates.
Police said Anthony A. Tegolini, 68, of Prospect, Conn., was driving his 18-wheeler from behind the building toward Pleasant Street when the roof of his trailer clipped the corner of the building.
A city building inspector examined the building and determined it was safe to occupy, police said. The tractor-trailer was towed away by Harold's Garage, located a block away.
