HADLEY - Elizabeth (Kelly) Tedford, 61, of Farm Lane died Monday, Oct. 6 at the Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton.

Elizabeth was born June 22, 1947, in Salem, the daughter of the late James and Augusta (Guthrie) Kelly. She grew up in Salem, attending St. Mary's Grammar School and graduating from Salem High School in 1965. Elizabeth was an accounting clerk in the comptroller's office at UMass for over 25 years. She was a communicant of the Most Holy Redeemer Church in Hadley as well as being a member of the choir and the Rosary Sodality. She was a past member of the Hadley Mother's Club.

Elizabeth leaves her two daughters, Sheila Webster and her husband, Mayger, of Providence and Kelly-Anne Tedford of Hadley. She also leaves her stepchildren, William Levesque of New Hampshire and Tracy Brown of Georgia; two children of her heart, Roland Ratta of Easthampton and Alan Rodak of Hadley; her sister, Sheila (Kelly) Lawler of Salem; nine grandchildren; two aunts, Mildred Guthrie of Danvers and Mrs. Daniel Katherine Guthrie of Salem; and several cousins. Funeral services will be today at 8 a.m. from the Czelusniak Funeral Home of Northampton with a Mass at 9 a.m. in Most Holy Redeemer Church in Hadley. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations in Elizabeth's memory may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts St., Suite 450, Newton, MA 02458-1287.
