Patricia Brady, homemaker, gardener
WINDSOR - Patricia F. Brady, 62, of 344 Worthington Road, died Wednesday at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born June 23, 1946, in Plymouth, the daughter of Ray and Marjorie Lantz Parks, she was a graduate of Mount Everett Regional High School and Berkshire Community College.
Mrs. Brady was a homemaker.
She was a member of the West Cummington Congregational Church.
Patricia made soil, loved to garden and maintain her flowers beds. She spun fiber and was a member of the Hilltown Spinners. She enjoyed building structures and stone walls. She enjoyed baking and taking walks in the woods with her husband, Patrick. For a time, she was active with the Historical Society in Windsor. Patricia was always known for honesty, giving ways and her directness.
She leaves her husband, Patrick A. Brady, whom she married on Dec. 7, 1979. Her son, Michael Senior, and his girlfriend, Pam, and her son, Aiden, brother Walter Parks, and his wife, Judy, of Monterey, grandson Jesus, and his mother, Grace, of Costa Rica; her mother and father-in-law, Alberta and William Till, of Windsor; four nieces, Beth, Sue, Becky and Andrea; three nephews, David, Aaron and Brian, two sisters-in-law, Nanette Pelkey, of Crown Point, N.Y., and Dody Brady, of Lanesboro, and a brother-in-law, Tom Brady, of Pittsfield.
Graveside services for Mrs. Patricia F. Brady will be Saturday, Aug. 23, at 11 a.m., in the East Windsor Cemetery in Windsor, with the Rev. Stephen Philbrick, pastor of the West Cummington Congregational Church, officiating. Per Patricia's request, in lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Windsor Fire Department, HospiceCare in the Berkshires, or Calvary Missions, care of the Bartlett Wellington Funeral Home, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226, which is in charge of arrangements.
