EASTHAMPTON - Jeannette (Deres) Roberts, 94, of Plain Street, died July 14, 2008, at Hampshire Care in Leeds.

Born in Hatfield on Oct. 23, 1913, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Widelo) Deres. She attended Smith Vocational High School in Northampton and was a communicant of the Notre Dame Church in Easthampton.

Jeannette was married to the late Ernest Roberts, who died in 1992.

She leaves her sister, Frances Petrowicz of Northampton; and several nieces and nephews, especially her niece Kathleen Thibodeau and her husband, Roger, of Easthampton, with whom she had lived.

A private graveside service was held at the Calvary Cemetery in Hatfield.
